How much does online weight loss coaching cost in the UK for women over 40?
One-to-one online coaching in the UK usually costs somewhere between £150 and £360 a month. Ours is £249 every 4 weeks, and for that you get a trainer, a nutrition coach and a habit coach in one place. No contract, and your first week is free.
We'd rather tell you the price straight away than make you book a call to find out. Below you'll find what's out there, why prices differ so much, and what you actually get from us for that money.
What you'll find out there
We checked prices in October 2026. These are rough figures, not an official price list:
- A paid calorie-counting app costs about £15 a month (MyFitnessPal Premium is $19.99 a month [1]). Nobody in the app looks at your week.
- Group programmes and online courses are often a one-off fee or a small monthly payment. Everyone follows the same plan.
- One-to-one online coaching for women in midlife: two UK coaches we looked at charge £149 a month [2] and £259 to £359 a month [3].
- A personal trainer in person costs on average £30 to £50 an hour in the UK, and up to £200 a session in London [4]. One session a week is roughly £120 to £200 a month, and it usually covers training only.
Prices change, so check anyone you're thinking about.
What makes the price go up or down
Mostly it comes down to how much real time a person spends on you. A cheap programme is cheap because nobody reads your messages. A higher price should mean someone knows your name, your week and what went wrong on Thursday.
Other things that change the price:
- whether the plan is made for you or is the same PDF for everyone
- the coach's qualifications
- how often you talk to them
- whether you're locked into a contract
What you get for £249
- Our app with your training plan, your habits and your check-ins
- A second app for food. We show you how to log meals quickly, even by voice, so it doesn't take up much of your day
- Access to our WhatsApp community
- A check-in once a week, with a reply from your coach
- Contact with us whenever you need it
- Every 4 weeks, a report on those 4 weeks and a call with us
Every week, after your check-in, we record a message for you. We tell you what went well and what to work on, and we give you your plan for the next week.
On top of that you get accountability: someone checks in on you every week. When you know you're sending us your check-in on Sunday, it's easier to keep your word on Wednesday. No app or AI can do that for you.
Your coaches are the two of us. Agnieszka has a sport degree and coaches fitness. Paweł is a Precision Nutrition coach. You won't be passed on to a junior coach or a chatbot.
Want to see how it feels first? Your first week is free after a short call.
Book a free callWhat isn't included
There is no meal plan. We teach you to eat your own food, the food your family already eats, in amounts that work for you. We don't sell supplements. And we don't give medical advice: if you have a health condition or take medication, your doctor stays in charge and we work alongside them.
Is £249 every 4 weeks the same as £249 a month?
No, and we'd rather say it before you work it out yourself. A year has 13 blocks of 4 weeks, so a full year is 13 payments. That's £3,237 a year, about £270 a month, or about £8.90 a day.
We bill every 4 weeks because our coaching runs in 4-week blocks: a report, a call and a new step at the end of each one.
When a cheaper option is enough
If you already know what to eat, you stay consistent when life gets busy, and you only need somewhere to log your food, a £10 app might be all you need. That's fine.
Coaching makes sense when you've tried on your own a few times and keep stopping halfway. What a person adds is accountability: someone who sees your week, asks how it went and helps you start again on Monday without starting from zero.
It also helps to compare it with what you've already spent. The diet book, the shakes, the gym membership you stopped using in February. Most women we talk to have spent more than £249 on things that didn't last.
How long will I need a coach?
We suggest at least 12 weeks, which is £747 in total. The first 4 weeks are mostly learning: logging your food, getting enough protein and building your first habit. By weeks 8 to 12 those habits start to run without much thinking.
Some of our clients are past week 10 and still with us because they want to keep going. Others leave after 12 weeks and carry on alone. Both are fine.
Is there a contract?
No. You pay every 4 weeks. If you want to stop, tell us before the next 4 weeks start and you won't be charged again. Weeks you've already paid for aren't refunded.

Quick questions
Is the first week really free?
Yes. After a short call you get a full week with us: the apps, your first workout and a check-in with a personal reply. At the end of the week you decide. If it isn't for you, you tell us and that's it.
Are there any extra costs?
No supplements, shakes or special food to buy. You don't need a gym membership either. A pair of dumbbells at home is enough to start, and if you already go to a gym we'll use it.
Can I stop after the first month?
Yes. There is no contract. Tell us before your next 4 weeks start and you won't be charged again. We don't refund weeks that are already paid for.
Why does it cost more than an app?
An app counts calories. It doesn't read your week, notice that you skipped breakfast three days in a row, or change your habit when life gets busy. You pay for a person who does that with you every week.
